Selling on eBay continues to be a great way to make money online, and those sellers who manage to sell the most popular products usually make the most money. Finding the top selling items on eBay is not easy for some, but it is a necessary function for successful sellers. This is because the way to attract buyers online is to offer the products they are searching for and make those products available to buyers.

The usual best sellers are videogame systems and videogames, especially the newest on the market, any other new technological products, the latest cell phones and smart phones, computer products, and designer clothing and accessories. These are products that are always in demand with buyers, but there is also a lot of competition in these niches. The ideal niche contains products in demand by buyers but with little competition among sellers.

Aside from these usual best sellers, there are other very profitable products among the top selling items on eBay. These niches don't show up in any eBay Pulse list or other top ten list but are, nevertheless, hot products that are very profitable for some eBay sellers.

How does one go about finding the top selling items on eBay? The best way to find these profitable hot niches is to spend time researching completed listings. Although conducting research is time consuming, it is well worth the time and effort. By taking the time to perform the time-consuming task of searching for and finding hot, profitable products, you will very likely see your online profits soar.

Nintendo is literally changing the game, and this is only the beginning, whether veteran gamers like it or not. As they attract new customers, old people, young people, girls who don't already play videogames and people who look down on them, we can take a brief look at the company itself.

Founded by Fusajiro Yamauchi in 1889, Nintendo started in the playing cards game. Today the company is led by Satoru Iwata, the fourth and current president. Nintendo is one of the largest companies in Japan and was instrumental (if not the sole catalyst) in re-creating the videogame market.

Nintendo's near monopoly on the home video game market left it with a degree of influence over the industry exceeding even that of Atari during Atari's heyday in the early 1980s and today it seems that Ninendo sells less but makes more money. It has been profitable practically every year since it moved into the video game industry over two decades ago and has long held a dominant position in handheld gaming, developed through a strategy of focusing on playability.

The company has recently gone on record to admit that demand is simply much higher than supply for their current Wii and Wii Fit while the DS is up 142% over last year. The company's own employees have even been put on a strict Wii system purchase limit.

The company says it wants to be the games company that puts smiles on the faces of people of all ages and genders, and following the sales of Wii and Wii Fit, there are likely to be grins all around at the HQ. Nintendo's official website saw the largest increase in traffic recently, while the Sony PlayStation website saw a moderate decrease.

The company's products are actually cheaper than that of the competition and are one of the oldest and most successful console game developers. If you want a console to play games or to use for excercise you won't go far wrong with Nintendo.

Circus Games

Enter the Big Top and become a part of the greatest circus of all time. Get ready for 20 fun-filled games that bring the excitement of the circus to life for you and your family.

Customer Review: not such a good purchase
this games is slow and is not alot of fun out the 20 games on the disk maybe 3 are really fun. It is very slow to load and after each game it has to load again. Not alot of fun for the money.
Customer Review: Too slowwwww...
I was looking for a non-sports game that would be fun for the whole family. While the games aren't bad, the time it takes to load each time is painfully slow. If I knew then what I know now, I would not have purchased this game.

When the October 4th 2005 X 05 events were going on in Amsterdam all in the gaming industry realized that the Microsoft will announce for the release of its Xbox 360 games in North America and Europe.
But to everyones surprise Microsoft didnt did so and that led to the confusion in the minds of many people.

However, the corporate vice president of Xbox marketing and publishing, Peter Moore told the masses that there are two hundred Xbox 360 games in development phase that are one of the best games ever designed. He also stated that they would organize the best launch lineup of Xbox 360 that has not been done ever in this industry. Peter Moore refused to declare the list of all the games that would be available for sale in November 22 during the launch of the Xbox 360. This launch is to be held in the United States.

As if this was not enough, one more press release by Microsoft titled Xbox 360 launch line-up announced has added to more confusion. Three first party games are listed in the press release under the heading of an impressive Christmas holiday portfolio. The games that are listed are Kameio Elements of Power, Perfect Dark Zero and Project Gotham Racing 3. The next catalogue of games under heading of the other great games announced or shown at X05 consists of games like Too Human, Crackdown, FIFA 06, Saints Row and many more. In the third category the games were included under the heading of the franchise titles that will make their debut on Xbox 360 that consists of games like Tom Clancys Splinter Cell 4, Superman Returns: The Videogame, Call of Duty 2 and many more such games.

The main confusion is that most of these games have 2006 release dates. Moreover some of the games that are announced would be impossible to be added into the Xbox 360 launch lineup that is opposite to the title indicated in press release.

To add to the confusion, when director of platform marketing for the Xbox 360, David Reid was asked about the available games during the launch then he stated that only fifteen to twenty Xbox 360 titles will be launched in November and the next halfdozen would be available next year. According to David Reid, only eight games would be available in November, namely, Need for Speed Most Wanted, FIFA 06: Road to FIFA World Cup, Project Gotham Racing 3, Perfect Dark Zero, Kameo, Madden NFL 06, NBA Live 06 and Tiger Woods PGA Tour 06. Remaining seven games that would be available in November will be announced by him in the next few weeks. He stated that those games are in the final stages of certification referring to the quality assurance process all games have to go through before they are available in the market. He also confirmed that if any game is unable to pass the certification then that game may not be available for sale in November Xbox 360 launch.

The main problem is that the decision to rush games is for the reason that the company wants to take the advantage of the holiday sales season. The other reason is that the gamer in todays world can analyze whether the game was rushed that may result in the destruction of the reputation of the game. Now there are only tow conditions, either the Xbox 360 games would be a great success or a big failure. All this is due to the excessive pre release publicity of Xbox 360.

Although the three games that Microsoft assures would be available on the release dates but when it comes to the remaining twelve titles all confusion prevails. It is thought that even if the Xbox 360 is spared the proposed PS3 would be under the same trap of questions.

The best way to know about the release of Xbox 360 is to wait and watch. Here we are in a state of confusion whereas on the other hand the Microsoft is fueling the market for the sale of its Xbox 360 games.

PSone System - Video Game Console

If the original PlayStation was the video game console equivalent of the '60s-era Volkswagen Beetle--economic, reliable, loads of fun--the PS One could be considered the new Beetle--a hip restyling of those same qualities.

Make no mistake: the PS One has all of the same functionality as the original PlayStation workhorse, will work with all of the same peripherals and accessories, and will play the existing PlayStation game library, as well as audio CDs (also note that, like the original PlayStation, it's not compatible with the more advanced PlayStation 2). The difference here is that this new model is quite a bit smaller than its older brother, and quite a bit cuter, too.

The system is made up of a 32-bit, 34-MHz RISC processor with 16 Mbits of main memory, 8 Mbits of graphics memory, 24-channel stereo sound, double-speed CD-ROM drive, and one Dual Shock analog controller. That's not a lot of power, compared to a next-generation system like the Sega Dreamcast; but, when you factor in its very low price and the enormous library of games that are available (more than 1,000 that are spread across every genre imaginable), one can see easily why it's as good a deal as ever. If rumors of exciting future accessories for the PS One (a four-inch LCD screen attachment, to name one) are true, this little machine could become a great option for the on-the-go gamer. --Porter Hall
Customer Review: The Truth
I recently purchased a PSone System and it did arrive as described and on time. I immediately hooked it to the TV and put in the game I already had and it fired right up. It was 8 years since I last played the PSone, but when the game came on and I began to play, it brought back memories. The PSone still worked like before and I highly recommend this for everybody.
Customer Review: Very Good!
Very good console. Sony came out with alot of fun games to play on this system. Just make sure you don't touch the little round lens in the console or you will be very sorry.

And the more sophisticated and social video games available today mean that a family night spent playing video games can be an engaging interactive experience, and even an educational one! Video games are expensive, though, with many new titles selling for more than sixty dollars (US) each. One way to save a lot of money is to buy "pre-played" or used video games.

Another great pastime is to track down older games for older systems: so-called "retro gaming" is very popular among teenagers, who are discovering and playing old classics that are new to them. Often these games are the same ones that parents remember from their own childhoods, which makes for an even better family experience.

Between garage sales, video game stores and your own closets and attics, you can probably find older video game consoles, those Ataris and Intellivisions, Nintendo Entertainment Systems and Segas that took up all your time in your own childhood. Today, these older consoles can often be found for only a few dollars, and they often come with a random selection of old games already! Finding the exact games you're looking for can be more of a challenge, but luckily we have the Internet for that.

There are literally millions and millions of old videogame cartridges and CDs for sale on online auction sites and other clearinghouses, often for only a few dollars. Of course, one downside of buying online is that you don't get to see, examine or test the game before paying. If you have the luxury of a used or "vintage" video game store in your area, you should use this! Be sure to examine the games for damage, and if possible TEST them before you pay and leave the store. Of course, modern games can be "used" too.

Many people buy the newest games, play them from start to finish in only a week or two, and then return them to the stores for credit. These "barely used" games can often be found for half the new price, or less! That's a terrific savings for being a few weeks behind the curve.

Again, whether you're buying a game that is two weeks old, or two decades old, be sure to check out the sellers history, or at least be certain of the store's return policy, in case you get a scratched disk or damaged game cartridge. Have fun with your gaming experiences, life is to short not too.

Customer Review: Gameboy Advance SP GameShark
The product worked great. This is an older device for use in Gameboy advance. Most kids today use the DS, but my kids also like to play with the Advance. This was hard to find anywhere else but I'm glad Amazon still carries it. Worked with all my kid's games without any problems. My kids also were able to look up custom codes from the internet and prgram them into this device which was also a very nice feature.
Customer Review: Misleading customer image?
The customer image is misleading and therefore the person I allowed to order this did not get what they expected. However the item actually shown by seller is what I am rating. The instrustion manual clearly states that using too many codes will have adverse effects. There is also a certain way to remove games from this to keep the item from getting scratched and unable to be read by the GBA. When used correctly this is a great item and deserves great reviews.

Advergaming, considered to be one of the newest marketing and advertising strategies, is rapidly becoming the darling of the advertising industry. Though the term "advergames" wasn't coined until 2001 in a Wired magazine's "Jargon Watch" column, advergaming as a marketing tool is actually older than most people realize.

The first real advergame was a customized videogame incorporating brand messages and was distributed on floppy disk by American Home Foods to promote the Chef Boyardee brand during the 80's. Advergames are used to promote products or services, organizations, and even opinions and viewpoints. Today, with the advent of the internet, and smaller, faster processing chips used in computers, cellular phones, PDAs, and interactive television programming, advergaming has grown into a formidable industry.

Advergaming is generally categorized in three different ways. In the first category, companies provide interactive games on their websites, hoping visitors to the site become engaged in the game, thus spending more time on the website and becoming more familiar with a brand or product. The second category is generally recognized as games that are created by groups or organizations for commercial, political or educational purposes, and then published and sold as any other game. For example, the United States Army sponsored a game called "America's Army" in an effort to increase recruitment. The third category includes games that promote products, brands, or services within the game itself. For example, an interactive baseball game might have banners around the field that promote Coca-Cola, or a football team might be the "Tide Titans." The advertising is similar to a character in a movie holding a can of Red Bull, or stopping for coffee at a Dunkin' Donuts.

Advergames aren't just for kids, either. In a 2004 study performed by Comscore MediaMetrix, 25% of the gamers on PCs are 35-44 years of age, 25% of gamers playing free online games are 25-34 years old, and 33% of those who play premium games are 25-34 years old. Additionally, income varies among the age groups.

Unlike television commercials, advertising and marketing within advergames is not perceived as an intrusion by the players. Gamers are voluntarily interactive, and the promotional materials contained within the advergames are viewed as simply part of the game; this makes the gamers a part of the marketing action rather than sideline observers. Repeat visits to websites via the internet or cell phones are high among advergamers, and as a result, product or brand recognition and loyalty is also high among the interactive players. And advergamers regularly spread the word about games they particularly like to friends and family. Additionally, because players can access advergames during work hours over the internet, a greater segment of the population can be reached in a time previously considered untouchable by advertisers.

Xbox 360 is videogame console developed by Microsoft Corporation and introduced in the year 2005. The hardware for the Xbox was built by Microsoft after years of research in the hardware field. Though Microsoft is a giant in producing software, they are very new to the hardware field. Microsoft has involved themselves into this field because of the growing demand in this area and there is a worldwide craze for video gaming.

CONFIGURATION

The two main components of Xbox 360 are the CPU and the GPU. It has a power ring to indicate the status of the console. Heat sinks are provided to absorb the heat generated with the processors and intercoolers are provided to cool them. It has the capability of connecting the console to any external joysticks according to the games. It has a CD-ROM using which we can add new games to the system and has a large storage space for saving the game.

PRODUCT FAILURE

After its introduction to the market, many hardware failures have been reported to the Microsoft regarding its Xbox 360 console. Microsoft has stated that these problems were due to the overheating of the console. It also added that, the failure in the intercooler is also a cause for this problem. The power used by the intercooler is very large and that the power is taken from the main source to the motherboard. All these reasons combine together and make the power ring to glow in red color. The most commonly occurring problem is the three red light error.

Since Microsoft is very new to the hardware field, they also lacked in testing the device which they developed. Poor design of the device lead to the inadequate air flow to the processors to cool them. Though there are two heat sinks for each processor, the problem has raised only with the graphical processing unit. Regarding this hardware failures, Microsoft has announced that for those whose consoles warranty period has not expired need not pay any amount of money to get their console repaired. Also apart from this you need to wait for getting the console back to you. Once you have send the console to Microsoft service centre, you have to wait for at least four to eight weeks to get them back.

ALTERNATE SOLUTION

For those who do not prefer this solution can opt for another alternate solution. You can repair the console by yourself in your home. For this you need to watch some video tutorials which are available in the internet and require some simple tools like screw driver, etc. The main objective is that you need to remove the X clamp from the motherboard and fix the heat sink without the help of the X clamp. So, you need some crew and bolt to fix the heat sink to the motherboard. It's very easy. This arrangement helps to provide a better air flow to the motherboard. The most important benefit is that you can fix the console within one or two hours and you can start playing game on the same day.

Customer Review: Please Support This Game
Those of you who think you might be interested in this game...just get it already! I had so much fun with this collection of games, each with their own style and quirks, each legitimately fun to play irrespective of any nostalgia. There's a sequel coming out soon in Japan and they will only bring it out here if this game sells well in the US--let's make it happen!
Customer Review: AWESOME collection of "fake" games!
Lots of attention to detail in this one, it's the ultimate retro compilation of games that never existed. You get the full experience with games that feel truly retro thanks to a barrage of homages, killer gameplay, and extra information passed down through authentic in-game magazines. If you loved the 80's but still want something new, you'll have a great time with this game. Even if you're just looking for a fantastic portable game, this one will hold your attention regardless of age. Very family friendly and substantially educational thanks to the gaming literature it provides. Check it out, it's the perfect complement to a Nintendo DS system!
