Original Nintendo Game Boy, Gray

Handheld system and gameboy game genie only.
Customer Review: Nintendo Game Boy Gray System
Sometimes it is fun to bring the retro feeling to the future! Sometimes it is fun to have a bulky system like the Nintendo Game Boy Original! Sometimes it is fun to have the most durable gaming system in the book! The Original Game Boy was designed in 1989 and was released with many well known titles one being Super Mario Land. I really like this system as it is MUCH different than all of the other Nintendo Game Boy systems and it is so durable that if you threw it off the empire state building and landed on your cats back it would still work perfectly. Don't buy a Nintendo DS Lite that you have to pay $35.00 for a game that is not even the size of your eye ball, get something cheap, durable, and has a big library of games. I would also get the gray Nintendo Game Boy battery pack with the cord because then you don't have to use 4 AA batteries, however with batteries the Original Game Boy can last about 30 hours with only 4 AA batteries. This system is A LOT better than any other system by Nintendo, to be honest with you, now you can get Super Mario Land at Game Stores for $1.00 and up but most commonly $12.00. *****WHATEVER YOU DO, DO NOT BUY A NINTENDO DS LITE, THEY RIP YOU OFF AND I HAD ONE AND MY BROTHER HAD ONE AND WE GOT SO RIPPED OFF ON GAMES THAT WE COULDN'T EVEN AFFORD OUR CELL PHONE BILL...... *****Please get a Nintendo Game Boy Original, you will be so happy, make sure you get a case for it and be sure to put the games in plastic cases. The best Game Boy Game deal I ever got was, I got a Super Mario Land (original) from Game Stop for $1.50 last weekend! Some games I would like you to have in your library for many reasons are: Super Mario Land(Original) Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins Wario Land: Super Mario Land 3 Super Mario Land 4(Bootleg on a multicart of mine) Tetris (The Original) Tetris Plus Tetris DX Tetris Attack Tetris Blast Wario Land 2(Gray Cartridge Color) Solar Striker (Gray Cart 1989 release) Lemmings(Somewhat fun/cool artwork GRAY cartridge) Original Game Boy (Nintendo 1989 Gray Color) A roomy carrying pouch Donkey Kong Land Donkey Kong Land 2 Donkey Kong Land 3 Any Multicarts(in 1) except for the 4 in 1 pak games..... Japanese Releases(You never know what kind of game it is) Clear Cases for the Game Boy Games At home case, try to make it black and fit about 12 games New Drawers: To store some of your Game Boy Games in... anything else I missed that would be good for your collection? PLEASE GET ME, I AM A COLLECTOR'S DREAM AND I AM VERY GOOD WITH POWER, I AM HIGHLY DURABLE, AND BEST OF ALL I AM BULKY! Please buy me if you find me... J.R. Platt
Customer Review: A great retro Nintendo game system!
I have owned the original Nintendo Game boy for a long time. I still play Super Mario Land and all the classics. It is a great system for play or a collectors item!

Online gaming has exploded in recent years in terms of titles and the number of players. With new titles appealing to a broader audience than in the past, the gaming industry is expected to continue growing to over $13 billion in sales. Massive multiplayer online role playing games (MMORPGs) like World of Warcraft have attracted millions of players who compete in teams and against one another in large virtual landscapes, often for hours at a time. Access is available on a 24/7 basis to a global audience.

In addition to the purchase price of the software, players often must pay a monthly subscription fee to gain access to the company's network to play with others. In addition to all-day online access, players can receive technical support from the company to resolve Internet and software
issues.

In countries where broadband Internet is readily available, online gaming has become a staple form of entertainment for youths, who crowd Internet cafes and attend tournament LAN parties. The best gamers can earn income for their skills and in countries like South Korea even attain celebrity status, appearing on TV shows and gaining corporate sponsorship.

Online gaming offers several genres for players to choose from. Some offer virtual economies where players can produce, buy and sell virtual goods, much like in the real world. Others offer more pure form of entertainment through endless rounds of battles and adventures. The more popular games typically combine elements of both. Wolrd of Warcraft, for example, allows players to collect gold, earn experience and upgrade weapons, which are used in combat against others.

Ever since more powerful processors capable of generating life-like graphics and a more holistic experience became available, online gaming has
steadily grown in scope and ambition. Game console makers in recent years have earned devoted followings around the world. Zealous gamers eagerly anticipate, sometimes lining up days prior to release of the latest model and newest titles.

Some gamers are even willing to pay huge premiums for the latest consoles, bidding up console prices on Internet auction sites to many times their worth, especially during the holidays, when consumer spending peaks and consoles are in short supply. These buying frenzies and media-hyped releases will likely continue as gaming technology improves and more people flock to the online gaming experience.

Gamers are a becoming more and more these days. I know many people don't see them there, but they do exist. As gaming gets more interactive, you see more and more people wanting to play these games because it is fun.

Bible Game

The Bible Game is wholseome family fun that everyone can enjoy together! In this interactive adventure, un facts about Bible stories wil be revealed to educate and entertain the family. Action and quiz challenges are combined for a Bible lesson everyone can enjoy! Multiplayer competition with up to 4 players
Customer Review: Great game, but Catholic.
This game is very fun to play. My daughter and I play it quite a bit. It does have more of a game show appeal to it than anything else. The trivia questions can be adjusted from easy to hard. The mini games can be adjusted too, so it is a great game for all ages. The only problem I found with it is the one mini game where you put the 10 commandments in order. They have the third commandment as the Sabbath commandment, and the last two commandments, the "thou shalt not covet commandment", split into two. In other words they employ the Catholic version of the ten commandments. That was a little dissappointing, me being a protestant. But thats only in one of the games, and it's really not a big deal. The game is a really awesome family game.
Customer Review: The Bible game - PS2 - Good game in my opinion...
Well this is a interesting game. I like that the game talks about the bible but in the same point the game reminds me of the game show The Price Is Right. Just play the game you'll see what I mean. But over all good game. Get this game if you want to learn about the bible there's some pretty interesting stuff in this game.

Comic book and graphic novel criticism is rarely found outside of niche publications such as Wizard, or the many fan-driven sites that litter the web. Occasionally a mainstream newspaper will publish an article on the medium as a whole, or offer a retrospective on an under appreciated author, usually Alan Moore; but for the most part it is rare to come across comic reviews in any shape or form. I used to believe that this was simply down to media prejudice - and largely it probably is - but when I decided to dedicate my precious spare time to the joys of graphic novel criticism, I soon learnt that the "funny books" were far from the easiest medium to offer an objective evaluation of.

In the era of Stan Lee, comic plots rarely extended beyond an issue. The Fantastic Four would thwart Doctor Doom's plans for world domination and still be home in time to laugh at the Thing's working class idiosyncrasies. While this limited the writers somewhat, it did allow for episodic adventures that were entirely self-contained. Casual readers could pick up the occasional issue and never be far behind the soap opera antics of their favourite characters. Of course, pre-80s comics were considered an enjoyable but disposable pastime. Most were binned after being read, and forgotten soon after.

Naturally, things have changed. Sequential art is now accepted as an art form, though whether such an acceptance entails any benefits is another matter altogether. The contemporary comic book has become a far slower affair, with the sort of storyline that would have filled a single issue back in the sixties now stretched across several. While this makes for far superior graphic novel narratives, it does alienate the casual reader, and leaves the regular collector dangling on tenterhooks before the serial has had time to resume. More importantly, this approach to serial storytelling has rendered the reviewing of individuals comic issues a little pointless - who reviews the first half of a film, or a television drama only up to the first commercial break?

Of course, we could leave the reviews until our favourite series are collected in trade paperback format, but this approach is equally problematic. Many series have reached double digit number of volumes. Should each volume of The Sandman, The Walking Dead, or Y: The Last Man be reviewed individually, or should the series be critiqued as a whole? If comic book critics were to wait until a series had concluded before laying down their position, then very few new books would get the endorsement that quality appraisal offers.

Of course, there are no answers here. The comic medium will continue to suffer the prejudice of literary circles, and isolate those with only a passing interest. But I love the fact that any individual can have his say on the internet, and would rather be guided by the opinions of another comic enthusiast than the tepid, uninspired drivel from a mainstream film or videogame magazine that has temporarily jumped aboard the superhero zeitgeist. With or without mainstream attention, the comic book appears to be stuck comfortably in its niche. Is that such a bad thing?

Video game consoles are getting popular today because of the technology and the features when compared to that of the PC games. Initial video game console came with a cassette like circuit where you need to insert them into the consoles main box. Then games came into PC that was more fascinating than that of the ordinary video game because of its graphics and a variety of games available under different programming languages. Now, it has reached the next level like the Xbox or PlayStation, etc. The reason to this is some drawbacks in playing games in a PC in certain aspects. One of the major drawbacks is the graphics as PC requires special graphic cards to play certain games.

Microsoft's Xbox

Xbox is one such advanced gaming console available today in the market. Xbox is a product of Microsoft who themselves have developed the hardware for the console. We are all aware that, Microsoft is well known leader in writing program code. Xbox 360 is the latest product in videogame console released in the year 2005.

Design

Xbox 360 hardware was developed by Microsoft Corporation with Microsoft's own program codes running on each and every component. It mainly consist of two processors namely the central processing unit (CPU) and the graphical processing unit (GPU). The console boxes consist of a power ring around which LEDs light will be glowing in green or red. The heat sinks are fixed firmly to the microprocessor by means of two X clamp beneath the motherboard. The added feature in Xbox 360 is the CD-ROM where you can add new games to the console where you like playing them. The storage space in this console also has been increased when compared to that of the previous version of console.

Design Failure

Since its introduction into the market many Xbox 360 users have complained about the red light error in their console. In any kind of consoles, it has some inbuilt setups to caution the users about the status of the console. Likewise, Xbox has the lights around the power ring to indicate these errors and also will display the cause of failure on the screen with some error number.

Error E74

Most of the users complain about a particular error called E74. This error results in glowing of three red lights in the power ring area. This problem is commonly known among gamers as 'THE RED RING OF DEATH' or RRoD. This error might lead to the death of the motherboard if the problem was not properly fixed. The cause for this error is the overheating of the console.

How To Fix

This can be fixed by removing the X clamps in the motherboard. The heat sinks do not provide enough air supply to the processors and the heated air is not properly removed from that area causing the processors to fail.

Repairing of console can be done in two ways. One by sending the console to Microsoft service station or by repairing by own. If you have the warranty, then the repair is done at free of cost. But, if the warranty period is over then you have to pay for the repair which will cost you more.

The simple solution for this problem is that you can repair the console by your own. There are some video tutorials in the internet using which you can fix your Xbox in just one hour. The repair work is pretty simple and I myself have done the repair work in my Xbox 360. These videos will tell you how to remove the X clamps from the motherboard and how to fix them back without the clamps.

Xbox 360 Video Tutorials - Fix Your Xbox in just One Hour From Now

Repair your Xbox 360 by watching some of the online videos and fix your Xbox 360 now. You can fix your Xbox in just one hour from now and start playing the games again. Save over $100 and also the valuable play time. Just by using your household tools you can fix your Xbox and its very simple to do. Nintendo Universal Game Max Pink

Customer Review: Holds everything you need and is pink!
This is the perfect size... it holds my DS, my 16 card case, my guitar hero stuff, earphones, and still has more room. Well made too.
Customer Review: Great Case for the DS
I purchased this case for my grandson's DS. My daughter says he loves it so much he wears it around the house. It is also like a small backpack.

Whoever said that video gaming is a childish pastime clearly hasn't seen the prices of videogames these days. For $50 and above per product, video gaming is no longer a right. It's a luxury that only adults - given their purchasing power - can actually enjoy.

Indeed, with the rising cost of videogame software, the hobby has become an expensive investment. Review websites are enjoying wide readerships because people want to know - for certain - whether or not a video game is worth the money they'll spend on the same.

Sadly, reviews aren't always as accurate as one would expect them to be. Videogame reviews are always subjective, always dependent on the likes, dislikes and other idiosyncrasies beholden to the reviewer. And if recent controversies are to be believed, videogame reviews are also dependent on how much advertising dough the company has spent on the review website's pages.

Thankfully, most games - particularly PC games - offer free PC game demos. These demos are partial representations of the actual game. They may allow the player to play the game for a limited amount of time, or they may allow the player to play a small portion of the game, say a level or two. The game company hopes that such small immersion in the game's virtual world would be enough to lure the player into buying the full version.

Videogame companies also hope that these demos will be better versions of game reviews, as the prospective buyer himself can gauge the merits of the game to see if it's the right one for him.

Many video gaming companies have made it a habit to release free PC game demos. Ubisoft is, perhaps, the most prominent of them all. With hits like the Call of Duty series, the Rainbow 6 series and the Ghost Recon series, players have come to expect that Ubisoft's titles will have demos distributed prior to their release.

Ubisoft, just like other videogame companies, have another reason for releasing these demos, namely, for beta testing purposes.

Beta testing refers to that stage of the videogame's creation when bugs are being sought and the engine is being test driven to perfection. Beta testing is doubly important for videogames with online components (which account for 95% of the videogame software programs released these days), as this stage not only challenges the engine itself but also the infrastructure and stability of the videogame's would-be server.

Unlike the usual free PC game demos, however, videogames being beta tested allow users to download a game client that more or less comprises the entire game.

There are two types of beta testing: open and closed. Open beta testing allows everyone who has the means to download the game client to do so. Closed beta testing only allows a selected number of people - usually invited - to download and test the game client.

Where can you download these PC game demos? There are many websites that host every PC game demo ever released. You can try Gamespot.com, Fileplanet.com and even IGN.com for a comprehensive listing of these demos as well as access their amazingly fast servers.

The Super Mario Bros are a part of videogame royalty since their creation by Nintendo. When the first Nintendo came out in the mid 1980s it was incredibly successful, but it actually took a while to catch on. The very first Nintendo games didnt really offer anything different than what was already on the market from gaming companies like Atari. It wasnt until they released the game Super Mario Bros that the Nintendo really exploded on the scene with their first council system, and only then did they achieve icon status concerning 1980s entertainment.

Recognizing the breakaway hit that the first Super Mario Bros game was, Nintendo wisely decided to start including the game as part of the package when you bought the system. It was a smart promotion and no doubt increased sales of their gaming system. When I first got my Nintendo Entertainment System, it came with the Super Mario Bros game and I was in video game heaven.

I was off a big fan of Atari 2600 but I was blown away by the superior sound and graphics that Nintendo offered. More than the better graphics and sounds, the sheer size and scope of the Super Mario Bros game was what really made the Nintendo shine above the others. Atari games had always lacked layered depth, but the Super Mario Bros game had it and then some.

Super Mario Bros games are still being churned out today for the modern-day Nintendo systems, like the Gamecube and the N64. There is no question that the Super Mario Bros are the flag bearers and nationally recognized symbols for Nintendo systems, and have probably done more to bring in business for the Japan based company than all of their other advertising efforts to date. Just putting the Super Mario Bros into a game just about guarantees greater sales, it's that much of an enticement. Its no surprise then that there are so many different takeoffs of Mario Bros games out there now.

One of my favorite more recent Super Mario Bros games is the Mario Kart series. The really cool thing about these games is that you can play it against other players directly. You could play the original Super Mario Brothers games with more than one player, but not simultaneously, so you were always hoping that your buddy get killed so you could play the game. The Mario Kart games are fun because you can play with several players and have some good clean fun while you go at it and the is still leave there as friends.

Travel Games For Dummies

Customer Review: Reviewed by Sabrina Williams for Breeni Books
For the video game enthusiast who tends to gravitate toward puzzle games when browsing store shelves, Travel Games for Dummies for the Nintendo DS may be the perfect item to occupy your time. Whether you're actually traveling or just relaxing with your DS, the light challenge this little cartridge offers is the perfect combination of mental stimulation and old fashioned fun. Featuring three time tested puzzles--Sudoku, Solitaire, and Crosswords--Travel Games appeals to players of all ages, and parents need not screen this choice for sex and violence before handing it over to young gamers. The game can be picked up and mastered almost immediately in its simplicity. Three choices, each choice offering different levels of expertise, and an easily accessible help menu provide instant entertainment. It is not clear how Sudoku and Solitaire made it into the "dummies" classification, but the crossword puzzles are fairly simple, even on the most difficult level. Several of the clues repeat, and words can be deciphered by trying out different letters until the computer accepts them. If you're easily frustrated with the inability to finish a crossword, have no fear. In addition to the aforementioned cheats, bonus letters rotate around the board, so if you happen to solve a clue while it's highlighted, you can earn up to three bonus clues at a time. Later, when you're having trouble coming up with an answer, you can use a bonus to receive an extra clue. Sudoku and Solitaire require more strategy than knowledge, so the difficulty will vary with the user's skill. Personally, I'm not so hot with numbers, so even the beginner levels of Sudoku were a challenge for me. Solitaire also relies on the luck of the draw, so some games are naturally more challenging than others. The actual game operation is quite simple, however. The only complaint I really have is the keyboard for the Crossword puzzles is extremely tiny and cramped, and I often found myself aiming for one letter and actually clicking on another by accident. This is probably not an annoyance that can be remedied with the game being designed for a small DS screen. It's minor compared to the addictiveness of the game play. Most people already know if Sudoku, Solitaire, and Crosswords are games that will keep them entertained. The actual execution of the games is solid and fans will be pleased. This would be an excellent game for mature players looking to hone mental alertness with games such as Brain Age, or anyone eager to sharpen problem solving skills.
Customer Review: Awesome Travel Game!
This game was worth more than what I got it for. There are so many puzzles for Sudoku. I like how you can select the number you want instead of having the game guess what you are trying to write. Once you complete a square or a certain number, the numbers will pop up letting you know that particular is correct! =) You can select what level you want too. Haven't even tried the other games yet!

Im 26 years old and I had to have my first colonoscopy done a few months back. My grandmother had and lost her battle against colon cancer. Of course this made me scared of what they may find but I found the American Cancer Society website useful to help calm down my nerves.

The only thing that you should really dread, if any, is the prep process. The prep time consists of drinking medicines that will help clean out your system. Of course you will not be able to have anything to eat or drink that is solid or has any type of flavor, unless you like broth and jell-o as long as it is not red. You will then spend pretty much all day in the bathroom. While I was prepping I came up with a few ideas to help make the prep time more productive.

Make sure you bring in a book or magazine, move your TV into your bathroom if you have space, use your laptop to play games on the internet or instant message your friends and see if they can guess what you are doing, play a hand-held videogame, if you are a female, paint your toe/ finger nails and wax/ shave your legs and one thing you need to always remember is to MAKE SURE YOU TAKE YOUR PHONE INTO THE BATHROOM. You never know when the moment will hit when you have to go. After all, it always seems that people call you whenever you are in the bathroom. I hope this will help you with making the prep time a bit easier to deal with.

For information on colonoscopies or to help you better understand the process and learn more about the procedure visit.
